Imaginate’s mission is to ensure that all children and young people in Scotland have regular access to a diverse range of performing arts experiences that contributes to their social, cultural and developmental needs. Imaginate has four key areas of work: the Imaginate Festival & Tour; the Art form Development Programme; the Learning Partnerships Programme and the Audience Development Programme. The Imaginate Festival is the UK’s largest and most successful performing arts event for children and young people. It creates regular opportunities for artists at every stage in their career to develop their skills and craft. The Imaginate Art Form Development Programme provides a range of opportunities for artists to fulfil their potential and to continue their learning and professional development for the benefit of young audiences.
