Martin Forsberg is a swedish choreographer based in the Copenhagen area. Educated at the Swedish ballet academy and in choreography at the Danish national school of Contemporary Dance. His deeds functions throu his own company structure, Fors Works, and by making choreographic creations for other companies like Norrdans, Riksteatern (Swedish National Theatre), Cross Connection Ballet, Tsekh Moscow and Petrozavodsk State Ballet.
Forsbergs choreographic work derives from an interest in human/situation-based logic and the invention of choreographic metodology in relation to his collaborators. Striving to visualize human patters in relation to choreographic aesthetics seen as the body as a function in time and space. The core question is ”What is a human and how do we manifest our existence”.
