Jannik Elkær Nielsen is choreographer, body coach and dancer. He is co-founder and artistic director of the Company Don*Gnu in co-operation with Kristoffer Pedersen.
Bodily Impetus and educational fundament is a constellation of movement
types, assembled in the concept "Leading in Motion" (lim) based on elements
from Aikido, Tai Chi and Boxing, Argentine tango, contemporary dance and
release technique. Nielsen choreographed for Roskilde Festival, The Danish Nationalmuseum, Gladsaxe & Glostrup Musicschool, Filmværkstedet between 1998 and 2006.
Nielsen followed Diplom-education in Art- and Culture management (Scenekunstens udviklingscenter) 2009-2011, The National school of Contemporary dance in DK 1999-2003 and School of stage art from 1996-1998.
His teaching experience concerns development of the concept 'Leading in Motion' (LiM) an experience-based body technique based on physical exercises, providing practical experiences of theoretical leadership and communication perspectives.
Films and motion in co-operation with Teatro Retazos and Miguel Azcue.
